Job summary

A&W Lake Country is hiring Kitchen Crew to help prepare menu items and keep the kitchen running smoothly. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and learning valuable skills in a supportive environment.

You will be part of a team with flexible schedules and clear wage progression through our training program, with shifts days, evenings, and weekends. A friendly culture and opportunities to grow into leadership roles await.

Responsibilities

• Prepare A&W menu items following food safety and quality standards.
• Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products efficiently.
• Assemble orders accurately, even during busy periods.
• Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running efficiently.
• Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations.
• Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils.
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members.
• Communicate clearly during rush periods.
• Support a positive, respectful workplace.

• New Hire: $18.50/hour
• Fully Trained: $18.75/hour
• Advanced: $19/hour
• Cross-Trained: $19.25/hour
• Shift Leader: $19.50/hour
