Job summary

A&W Restaurants in Victoria BC is hiring for a Kitchen Crew. You’ll help prepare burgers, fries, breakfast items and other products, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and work as part of a busy team during graveyard shifts in a fast‑paced environment.

This role includes on‑the‑job training with clear wage increases as you gain skills, flexible hours up to 40 per week, and benefits and discounts where eligible.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare A&W menu items following safety standards.
• Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products efficiently.
• Assemble orders accurately, even during busy periods.
• Kitchen Operations: Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
• Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations.
• Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Follow hygiene procedures; sanitize equipment and surfaces.
• Teamwork: Communicate during rush periods and support a positive workplace.

• •Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience

Teamwork

• •Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members
• •Communicate clearly during rush periods
• •Support a positive, respectful workplace
