Job summary

A&W Restaurants in Williams Lake, BC is hiring a Kitchen Crew member to help prepare the food guests love while keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

This hands-on role offers on-the-job training, flexible schedules, and opportunities to grow into leadership positions. You will work days, evenings, and weekends, up to 40 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• New Hire: $18.50/hour as starting wage
• S2S training program for skill growth and increased responsibilities
• Wage progression with increases up to $19.50/hour as you advance

Responsibilities

• Prepare A&W menu items following food safety and quality standards
• Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products efficiently
• Assemble orders accurately, even during busy periods
• Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running efficiently
• Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations
• Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain guest experience
• Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members

Wages & Growth

• New Hire: $18.50/hour
• Fully Trained: $18.75/hour
• Advanced: $19/hour
• Cross-Trained: $19.25/hour
• Shift Leader: $19.50/hour

• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience

Teamwork

• Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members
• Communicate clearly during rush periods
• Support a positive, respectful workplace
