Wage Range: $20.51-$28.21

Our Whitby clinic is looking for a full-time Kinesiologist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Treat MVA, LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting
• Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist regarding treatment, progression, and client management
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet identified client needs
• Complete employer assessments such as PDA, POET, and FAE to confirm job capability of essential demands
• Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
• Assist the treating clinician with return‑to‑work planning
• Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of safety hazards

Qualifications

• Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
• Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work independently
• Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Desire to work hard to improve your skills
• Empathy and ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in interdisciplinary care considered an asset
• Experience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions considered an asset
