Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Kinesiologist, Work Injury Management to join the Workplace Solutions division in the Greater Toronto area. You will support disability management claims, complete employer assessments, and build strong rapport with clients through exceptional service.

Two years of clinical experience and registration in good standing are required. A valid driver’s license is essential, with flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package offered by CBI Health.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Registration in good standing as a Registered Healthcare Professional.
  • Experience with ergonomics and Workers' Safety Insurance Board clients is an asset.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable access to your own vehicle.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, AODA and PHIPA.
  • Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

  • Complete functional assessments and provide exercise prescription to address reports of discomfort.
  • Coordinate stay at work / return to work programs for both occupational and non-occupational injuries.
  • Complete industrial ergonomic hazard identification, assessment, and development of controls.
  • Complete assessments such as, Office Ergonomic Assessments, Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Cognitive Demands Analysis (CDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE).
  • Develop wellness initiatives, outreach, risk reduction and education programs for employees and provide job coaching as necessary.
  • Assist with investigations and prepare reports for employers.
  • Provide secondary support to Health Centre nurse and JHSC.
  • Maintain documentation of all programs, Metrix and ensure regulatory compliances are met.

What you need to be successful
