Job summary

The Upper Canada District School Board is accepting applications for a Registered Early Childhood Educator in the kindergarten program. Under the Principal's direction, you will help plan, implement, and assess learning experiences in collaboration with the classroom teacher.

You will support diverse families, participate in student assessments, and maintain professional communication with parents and staff while adhering to district safety rules and policies.

Qualifications

• University degree in early child development or a 2-year diploma in ECE.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Minimum of 2–3 years recent experience in related child care.
• Assignments may include English and/or French classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with teaching staff to achieve goals.
• Plans and delivers appropriate learning experiences for kindergarten students.
• Provides supervision and safety during teacher absence.
• Guides students with positive behaviour management and inclusion.
• Collaborates with school and support staff on programs for special needs.
