The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our 10-month program and lead an extended before/after-school component that supports Junior and Senior Kindergarten students in a full-day Early Learning Program. Qualifications

• Two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing is required.
• A minimum of one year of child care experience is required.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification is required.
• Immunization records with MMR and Tdap immunizations are required for OCDSB hires after Sept 1, 2022.
• Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector within the last 6 months is required for new OCDSB employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, play-based education to support cognitive, emotional and social development in Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.
• Lead an extended program before/after school for OCDSB students at designated elementary schools.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher in daily activities and student support.
