The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join the kindergarten team. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences for young students in a inclusive, supportive environment.

Under the principal's direction, you will support families, communicate with guardians, and contribute to a safe, welcoming classroom that fosters development and wellbeing for children in a bilingual setting when

Formación

• University degree in early child development or a 2-year post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Minimum of 2-3 years recent experience in related child care.
• Assignments may include English and/or French classroom settings.

Responsabilidades

• Works collaboratively with teaching staff to achieve goals.
• Plans and delivers learning experiences for kindergarten students.
• Provides supervision and ensures safety in the absence of the teacher.
• Ensures positive communications with parents/guardians and staff.
• Collaborates with school and support staff concerning program implementation.
• Attends meetings, parent/teacher interviews and documentation for assessment.
