Job summary

Value Buds Stony Plain is seeking a motivated Keyholder to join our cannabis retail team. You will lead by example during shifts, deliver exceptional service, and support both customers and teammates in a fast-paced store.

As a Keyholder, you'll handle product recommendations, education on cannabis, merchandising, POS transactions, inventory checks, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a welcoming experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification required.
• Minimum age as per province (18/19+).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you'll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

What You'll Do

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep

About You

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
