Job summary

FOUR20 Premium Market Ltd in Alberta is hiring team members who care about cannabis and community. You’ll help customers with education and product recommendations while upholding safety and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work with the team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience, manage POS transactions, assist with merchandising, and maintain accurate inventory. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is preferred; must be of legal age with provincial license.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age and hold a license in the province of the position.
• Retail and customer service experience is required.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cannabis regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sellsafe (AB) and verify customer eligibility per regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build baskets based on needs.
• Manage POS transactions, opens/closes and handle inventory counts.
• Maintain safe, inclusive store environment and follow company policies.
• Assist merchandising and product replenishment across locations.

Essential Functions

• Being a kind and decent human being, be your authentic self, promote a safe and inclusive environment
• Provide outstanding customer service by building baskets based on customers needs and recommendations
• Working together as a team, contributing to our FOUR20 culture and ensuring a safe space for all customers and employees
• Manage POS systems for transactions: sales, voids, discounts and promotions (Lightspeed POS)
• Responsible for open and close procedures of the store
• Be problem solvers: flexible with unforeseen situations and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Curious mindset; continuous learning of Cannabis products, strains, categories and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting
• Adhering to all regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures
• Comfortable working independently
• Merchandising and stocking, keeping product levels maintained
• Leverage our best in class in-house cannabis and sales education program.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be physically able to pull, push and carry up to 25 lbs
