Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. is seeking an energetic retail associate in Canada to support customers and drive sales. Under supervision of store management, you will greet customers, advise on product choices, and help with transactions.

You will be proactive, attentive, and flexible to work holidays and longer hours during peak periods, contributing to a dynamic team environment and memorable in-store experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with finding products.
• Explain product features, materials and benefits.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Aim to meet and exceed personal sales goals.
• Manage the sales floor in the absence of managers.
• Arrange products on the floor to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backroom clean and organized.
• Share top product picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures and assist the team as needed.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
