Job summary

Responsibilities

• Advise customers to maximize sales potential and provide excellent service.
• Open and close the store as needed and manage the sales floor when managers are absent.
• Assist customers in locating products, explaining quality and features, and suggesting alternatives.
• Welcome customers warmly, process transactions at the cash register, and maintain store presentation.
• Meet and strive to exceed personal sales goals with supporting training.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in-store and backroom; stay alert for new product arrivals.
• Respect head office policies and perform other duties to support the team.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they're looking for - answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren't there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
