Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. is seeking a part-time retail associate in New Westminster, BC to assist customers, provide product guidance, and drive sales within our lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear lines. The role requires friendly, proactive service and flexibility to work holidays during peak periods.

You will help customers find items, explain features, and support a positive shopping experience while maintaining store presentation and stock. Training will help you reach sales targets.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or customer service experience.
• Willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers while working to maximize sales.
• Help customers find products, answer questions, explain materials and features.
• Be available in fitting rooms and assist as needed.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Prepare and stock products on the sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backstore clean and organized.
• Spot new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the register and process transactions.
• Follow store policies and procedures, with guidance from head office.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

What a typical workday looks like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

HOURLY SALARY : 18,25 $ - 19,55 $
