Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a part-time sales associate with a passion for fashion and customer service. You will welcome customers, listen to their needs, and guide them to products that fit their style and fit.

Under store management, you will open/close, maintain the sales floor, process transactions at the register, restock, and keep the store tidy. This role requires a proactive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work holidays during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience required.
• Strong customer service and product knowledge.
• Flexibility to work holidays and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers to maximize sales potential and assist with opening and closing the store.
• Provide warm welcome and help customers find products, explaining quality and features.
• Be available in fitting rooms and assist with questions and product recommendations.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Manage sales floor in managers' absence and organize product placement for a memorable shopping experience.
• Ensure store and backstore are clean and tidy, and restock as needed.
• Identify new products to suggest top picks to customers and escort them to the cash register for checkout.
• Follow head office policies and procedures and perform other duties to support the team.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they're looking for - answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren't there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

HOURLY SALARY : 18,32$ - 18,75$
