Job summary

FOUR20 Premium Market in Waterloo region seeks a friendly, reliable cannabis retail associate to deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers, and maintain compliant store operations.

You will handle Lightspeed POS, assist with product recommendations, open/close procedures, and work flexible shifts at multiple locations to support our community cannabis culture.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age and hold a cannabis qualification license for the province.
• Retail and customer service experience.
• Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by recommending products based on customer needs.
• Manage POS transactions including sales, voids, discounts, and promotions.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product levels.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and store policies.
• Contribute to a welcoming, safe, and inclusive store environment.
• Collaborate with team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Essential Functions

• Being a kind and decent human being, be your authentic self, promote a safe and inclusive environment
• Provide outstanding customer service by building baskets based on customers needs and recommendations
• Working together as a team, contributing to our FOUR20 culture and ensuring a safe space for all customers and employees
• Manage POS systems for transactions: sales, voids, discounts and promotions (Lightspeed POS)
• Responsible for open and close procedures of the store
• Be problem solvers: flexible with unforeseen situations and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Curious mindset; continuous learning of Cannabis products, strains, categories and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting
• Adhering to all regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures
• Comfortable working independently
• Merchandising and stocking, keeping product levels maintained
• Leverage our best in class in-house cannabis and sales education program.
