Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator in York, ON, to oversee multiple kettle locations and staff in a structured recruitment and scheduling process. You will ensure secure donations, staff training, and effective site coverage to support community fundraising efforts.

Successful candidates will bring customer service experience, basic office skills, and a valid Ontario driver’s license.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service.
Money handling experience is an asset.
Experience in office administration.
Experience with general office equipment and proficiency in Word and Excel.
Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver’s License with access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple kettle locations within a zone and ensure coverage.
Coordinate scheduling and supervision of kettle workers and volunteers.
Train, orient and manage kettle staff; monitor performance.
Maintain secure handling of donations and accurate weekly time sheets.
Recruit kettle workers and liaise with site contacts to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate kettle delivery/pickup and ensure supplies are stocked.
