Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Coordinator in Ontario for a short-term contract. You will oversee multiple kettle locations, organize and supervise workers, and ensure donations are collected securely.

You will also recruit staff, coordinate scheduling, and maintain strong site relations across malls and stores. Key requirements include a year of related experience, basic office skills (Word/Excel), and a valid Ontario G driver's license.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion of high school is an asset.
• Minimum one year related experience or customer service background.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Office administration experience with word processing and Excel.
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple Christmas Kettle locations in a geographic zone.
• Organize, direct and supervise kettle campaign workers and shifts.
• Ensure proper staffing, timesheets, and secure donation handling.
• Coordinate kettle deliveries/pickups and liaise with sites.
• Recruit kettle staff/volunteers and provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain safety, OH&S compliance and positive community relations.
