Job summary

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board is hiring Non-Certified Supply Teachers for daily occasional work when no Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certified Occasional Teachers are available. Non-Certified Supply Teachers may be called to work with students from K-12.

Call-outs are as needed to do replacement work, there is no guarantee of hours. Under the direction of the Principal/Vice Principal, you will support students within the classroom to create a safe, caring learning environment

Qualifications

Proficient in oral and written English.
Experience working/volunteering with children or adolescents.
Ability to maintain safety and privacy of student information.
Ability to communicate professionally and work well in a team.
Willingness to follow the established timetable and supervision requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom supervision and guidance under the direction of the Principal/Vice Principal.
Support students as they complete work/activities provided by the classroom teacher.
Follow the established timetable and replace teachers as needed for replacement work.
Contribute to a safe, caring learning environment where all students can thrive.
Work across K–12 as required and be available for daily call-outs when needed.
