Job summary

Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board invites applications for qualified Occasional Teachers to cover daily supply across all BGCDSB schools for the 2026/2027 school year. Long-term opportunities may arise once placed on the Occasional Teachers' Roster.

Applicants must hold a valid OCT certificate (including Transitional Certificates) and be eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Qualifications

• Valid OCT certificate (including Transitional Certificates).
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent if OCT is pending.
• Must hold qualifications in at least two of Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions.
• Vulnerable Sector Check valid within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supply across all BGCDSB schools.
• Long-term occasional opportunities may be available after roster approval.

Long-term occasional opportunities may be available for application once accepted to our Occasional Teachers' Roster.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Registration for Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) including Transitional Certificates.
  • Applications will also be accepted where OCT Certificate is pending with completed Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
• Qualifications in at least two of Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions.
• Qualifications in Special Education and/or Religious Education (asset).
• A Vulnerable Sector Check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.
