Job summary

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board invites applications from certified Occasional Teachers to join our Secondary OT Roster for Grades 9-12. Occasional Teachers replace short term absences and are integral to the district’s learning programs.

Applicants must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications, and have two teachable subjects. Local residency in Ottawa or nearby, or willingness to relocate within 60 days, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Must hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications.
• Must hold two teachable subjects (which exist within the OCDSB).
• Local residency is a mandatory requirement for onboarding. Successful candidates must reside in the Ottawa or surrounding area or be willing to relocate within 60 days from the date of offer.
