Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Specialist to join our Westburne sales team in Burnaby, BC. You will grow your technical sales expertise while supporting customers with electrical, automation, and energy solutions.

You will collaborate with senior specialists, engineers, and customers to develop product knowledge, deliver tailored presentations, and advance toward a senior outside technical sales role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a technical role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about complex products and solutions.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Sales Development: Build relationships with new and existing customers and identify growth opportunities.
• Technical Expertise: Develop understanding of electrical, automation, and energy solutions; collaborate with technical teams.
• Customer Support: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process.
• Professional Growth: Participate in training and mentorship to enhance skills; shadow senior specialists.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
