You will assist with bookkeeping, financial statements, and tax work across personal and corporate matters, with structured training and mentorship.

No prior public accounting experience is required; you will develop technical skills and professional judgment while handling multiple client files and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accounting program.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts (debits and credits).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow established procedures.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and month-end accounting.
• Prepare and assist with financial statements.
• Assist with personal and corporate tax preparation.
• Prepare GST/HST returns and reconciliations.
• Support with year-end tax work and client communication.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts and prepare working papers.
