Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Recent graduate or about one year of public accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in developing a long-term accounting career.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial records and accounting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Help prepare financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Review transactions and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting activities as required.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure records are complete and up to date.
• Collaborate with team members to support reporting deadlines and ongoing accounting requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and take on additional responsibilities as your skills and experience develop.
