You will manage client files, deliver high-quality engagements, mentor junior staff, and build long-term client relationships with owner-managed businesses. The role offers exposure to ASPE review engagements, compilations, corporate tax and client advisory services, requiring strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualificações

• CPA designation or active pursuit preferred.
• Progressive public practice accounting experience at senior levels (Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager/Manager).
• Strong experience with ASPE review engagements.
• Understanding of tax and private company reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to client service.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and complete ASPE review engagements for private company clients.
• Prepare compilation engagements (NTRs) and related working papers.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns and schedules.
• Compile and analyze financial information; prepare journal entries and supporting docs.
• Build relationships with clients and serve as a point of contact for accounting/tax queries.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Prepare and complete ASPE review engagements for a diverse portfolio of private company clients
• Prepare compilation engagements (NTRs) and related working papers with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns and supporting schedules while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation
• Compile and analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, and maintain accurate supporting documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted point of contact for accounting and tax-related inquiries
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members while fostering a collaborative team environment

Your strengths include:

• CPA designation or active pursuit of the CPA designation is preferred
• Progressive public practice accounting experience at the Senior Accountant, Assistant Manager, or Manager level
• Strong experience preparing and managing ASPE review engagements independently
• Solid compilation engagement (NTR) experience and understanding of tax and private company reporting requirements
