Job summary

Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. (MEMS) is an employee-owned environmental consultancy providing environmental, health and engineering services across western Canada since 1998.

The role involves managing environmental remediation and reclamation projects for clients throughout Western Canada with a mix of office and field work (80/20). You will lead project planning, budgeting, data interpretation, and reporting to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with emphasis on reclamation or soil science.
• Three years of experience in the execution and management of site assessments and reclamation, focusing on oil and gas.
• Eligibility for membership in a relevant professional organization is required.
• Knowledge of the 2010 Reclamation Criteria and Guidelines and Tier 1 & 2 Remediation Guidelines.
• Knowledge of BC Contaminated Sites Regulation and BC ER Certificate of Restoration program.
• Must meet site access requirements and possess a valid, non-GDL Class 5 Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and client needs for work plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Develop work plans and cost estimates for reclamation projects.
• Synthesize site information to interpret conditions and communicate issues.
• Plan, organize, and oversee reclamation project execution.
• Compile data, write and review reports.
