Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Clarington, Ontario, is seeking a Project Coordinator Co-op to support site establishment activities on multiple project buildings. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and assist with administration, coordination, and documentation tasks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with construction and engineering teams, adherence to standards, and effective communication across disciplines. This is a full-time temporary internship offering hands-on field exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) is preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SharePoint applications an asset.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with a large team.
• Knowledge of Aconex, Bluebeam, Excel is an asset.
• Able to read blueprints is an asset.
• Valid G license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work in-person at site office/trailer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Comprehensive Work Packages with construction and engineering.
• Identify, report, and secure approval for deviations from the design documents.
• Ensure construction activities comply with published policy, standards and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between field trades and design engineers for information flow.
• Provide status and progress reports to project team and management.
• Coordinate interfaces with internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and write detailed work plans with construction leads.
• Maintain high standards for final product quality.
• Monitor expenditures within project budget.
• Coordinate delivery of project deliverables and design documents.
