Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks an engineer to provide nuclear civil/structural engineering support, including reinforced concrete, steel, anchorage, seismic qualification, ageing management and containment structures. You will perform calculations under licensed Professional Engineer supervision, develop design documents, participate in reviews and field walkdowns, and progress toward P.Eng.

licensure in a safety‑driven, high‑reliability context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering acceptable for licensure with PEO.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; nuclear/power industry assets.
• Active development toward PEO licensure expected.
• Strong written communication and commitment to nuclear safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering tasks under licensed P.Eng. supervision including calculations, data review, drawings and specifications.
• Apply station procedures, design-basis documents, codes and QA requirements.
• Participate in field walkdowns, design reviews, meetings and issue resolution.
• Maintain records, seek guidance when needed and contribute toward licensure readiness.
