Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Junior Mechanical/Piping Designer to join the Integrated Design team. You will work on industrial projects across North America, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role offers growth opportunities within a global design firm.

The successful candidate will handle design work with minimal supervision, develop contract drawings, and participate in field verification while focusing on technical growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in the industrial consulting industry.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Apply design skills to prepare or coordinate the preparation of contract drawings, sketches, and concept design through to construction.
• Collaborate with Mechanical group members, other Stantec disciplines and clients to achieve project success.
• 3D modeling and design of piping and mechanical systems.
• P&ID and Flow Diagram preparation.
• Field representation and drawing interpretation.
