Job summary

Citi is seeking a Java Developer Analyst in Mississauga to participate in building resilient, scalable apps in the Markets Treasury Technology group. The role focuses on Money Markets and uses Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB in a cloud-native environment.

You will work with global teams to design, develop, and test applications, while coaching junior analysts and ensuring secure, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• 1 year of experience in Core Java (Java 17+) and the Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing, building, and deploying resilient, scalable application systems and microservices.
• Collaborate with global technology and business partners.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, perform testing and debugging.
• Serve as advisor to junior analysts and stakeholders.
• Identify problems, analyze information, and recommend solutions.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
