Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a Junior IT Workplace & Infrastructure Analyst in Mississauga, ON to support IT projects, optimize workplace technologies, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 systems. You will work under guidance, document tasks, and collaborate with the IT team to resolve routine issues and implement improvements.

The role requires 1–3+ years in IT support, Windows 11 desktop support, and familiarity with Windows Server concepts such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in Information Technology, IT support, or Desktop Support.
  • Windows 11 Desktop Support.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments, including: Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • Basic Linux server exposure is an asset.
  • M365 administration exposure, including: Entra ID users, groups, and licensing Enterprise applications SharePoint and Exchange Online administration
  • Exposure to networking concepts such as: VPN TCP/IP DNS DHCP Firewalls Proxy
  • Experience using ticketing/ITSM tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
  • Working knowledge of IT security concepts such as the CIA triad, least privilege, and hardening.
  • Other Skills (not required): Microsoft Graph or API integration exposure PowerShell scripting and automation Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler VPN end-user support Exposure to IAM concepts
  • Relevant Certifications: Microsoft certifications in progress or completed are an asset, such as: Azure Administrator Associate Identity and Access Administrator Associate Endpoint Administrator Associate Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • ITIL 4 Foundation CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification Linux certification such as RHCSA or LPIC-1 is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and collaboratively with IT team members.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior analysts or other appropriate teams as needed.

Job description

As the Junior IT Workplace & Infrastructure Analyst in Mississauga, ON your responsibilities include the following:

1-3+ years of experience in Information Technology, IT support, or Desktop Support.

Windows 11 Desktop Support.

Relevant Certifications: Microsoft certifications in progress or completed are an asset, such as: Azure Administrator Associate Identity and Access Administrator Associate Endpoint Administrator Associate Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

ITIL 4 Foundation CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification Linux certification such as RHCSA or LPIC-1 is an asset

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 55000 - 65000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel's total rewards package.
