Job summary

Edelweiss Software Group seeks a Junior HR & Systems Specialist to manage HRIS for the Group and support HR integrations across entities in Montreal. You will implement policies, assist with day-to-day HR questions, and build AI-assisted automations to speed up HR processes.

The role requires a strong HRIS background, bilingual English/French communication, and comfort with evolving multi-country needs. On-site in Saint-Laurent, Montreal.

Qualifications

• College or bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of HR administration and coordination with HRIS experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing entity mix, jurisdictions, and priorities.
• Comfort with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR) and HR technology.
• Curiosity about AI tools to improve productivity and processes.
• Strong Excel proficiency and MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation skills.
• Bilingual English and French.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group HR Lead in integrating newly acquired businesses into HRIS with data accuracy.
• Own and maintain deep knowledge of HRIS capabilities, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive HR administrative tasks using AI tools.
• Build and maintain simple automations to reduce manual data entry and reporting.
• Support development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist employees across portfolio with day-to-day HR questions and escalation as needed.
• Provide general administrative support across the Group, including compliance and recruitment.
