Junior HR Recruiter

We’re looking for a Junior HR Recruiter to join our small and dynamic North America head office team in Toronto. In this role, you’ll support the recruitment needs of our growing company, which includes 25 stores across North America — and more to come!

What you'll do
You’ll work closely with our management team to identify hiring needs and handle the full recruitment cycle:

• Write and post job ads
• Source and sort candidates
• Schedule and conduct initial screenings
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Send offer letters and employment contracts
• Prepare onboarding emails and documents
• Plan training with management
• Follow up with new hires and store teams
• Keep our employee database up to date
• Collaborate with senior recruiters to execute effective recruiting strategies that align with the company's goals

What you bring

• HR studies (degree or diploma)
• Strong organization skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective candidate engagement and collaboration with team members.
• Great presentation and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in recruiting or human resources is preferred but not mandatory; relevant internships will be considered.
• Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, as it can enhance your ability to engage candidates effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to talent acquisition, training development, and human resources practices is highly valued.
• Fluency in French is a strong asset
