Job summary

Crawford & Company seeks a Junior Desk Adjuster in Calgary or Edmonton to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto, property and casualty claims by phone and written correspondence.

You will work closely with clients, insureds, and field adjusters to provide exceptional service while ensuring claims are handled efficiently and professionally, with ongoing opportunities for career growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance claims environment.
  • Alberta Level 1 Adjuster License preferred, or actively working toward obtaining one.
  • Ability to obtain adjuster licenses in multiple provinces is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of auto and casualty claims will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent transcription and documentation skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 and Windows applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth

We are currently seeking a Junior Desk Adjuster to join our growing team in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the insurance claims industry.

As a Junior Desk Adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto, property and casualty claims through telephone and written correspondence.
