Livingston International is seeking a Junior corporate counsel to support multiple lines of business by drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, reviewing leases and NDAs, and assisting with litigation.

The role requires completing contract negotiations with customers and vendors, while coordinating with business units on compliance matters. A JD or equivalent in business/global trade is preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior corporate counsel will support all lines of business to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, review and draft commercial leases and non-disclosure agreements, manage Litigation matters, a typical day would include anything from dealing with contract negotiations both with customers and vendors to working with business units on compliance matters and assisting with litigation matters.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide legal advice to various lines of business in the areas of customs brokerage, transportation and integrated logistics, international freight forwarding, information technology, intellectual property, managed services and employment
• Conduct legal research regarding regulatory compliance applicable to international trade and custom brokerage.
• Negotiate, draft or review various corporate commercial documents in support of transactions entered into on behalf of the company
• Review and draft commercial lease agreements and help facilitated related transactions
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
• Adhere to established policies and procedures
