Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Junior corporate counsel to support multiple lines of business by drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, reviewing leases and NDAs, and assisting with litigation.

The role requires completing contract negotiations with customers and vendors, while coordinating with business units on compliance matters. A JD or equivalent in business/global trade is preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Strong legal analysis and drafting skills demonstrated in contracts, leases, NDAs and litigation matters.
• Business acumen with ability to assess risk, commercial impact and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to various lines of business in customs brokerage, transportation and logistics.
• Conduct legal research regarding regulatory compliance applicable to international trade and customs brokerage.
• Negotiate, draft or review corporate commercial documents in support of transactions.
• Review and draft commercial lease agreements and facilitate related transactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
