As a Junior Control System Engineer, you will work as part of a technical project team to deliver technical documentation, software, and hardware to clients. You will work on technically challenging and interesting projects, mostly within the nuclear industry. If you are comfortable in client-facing situations, results-driven, are a quick learner, and enjoy variety in your work, this role is for you.
Produce requirements and design documents related to the project scope;
Produce testing documents as required;
Write code for PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs(e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens);
Run rounds of testing as required pertaining to the project scope;
Participate in client meetings to ensure their needs are met;
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and project delivery.
Experience developing and testing control systems;
Experience creating engineering documentation;
Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including familiarity with several IEC61131 languages;
Comfortable in client-facing environments;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Proven track record working in a team environment.
Professional Engineer licence in Ontario (or pursuing);
Experience in the nuclear industry;
Commissioning and installation experience.
