Provides financial information to management by researching, analyzing, and providing accounting data, information, and various accounting/financial reports. Provides financial support in all aspects of the company in day-to-day operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct monthly reconciliation and filings of US and Canadian sales tax.
• Generate weekly and monthly bookings reports.
• Inter-company transactions.
• Prepare and analyze month-end reports and schedules.
• Providing some accounting support to finance and other functions in China, Europe, and USA.
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintenance of capital spending, fixed assets and prepaid registers and reporting.
• Calculating and posting exchange adjustments, interest, tax, depreciation and amortization.

Other Tasks

• Verify correctness of inter-company invoices.
• Chargeback of installation charges.
• Ensure correct posting of defect, warranty and goodwill costs.
• Provide payroll backup.
• Other duties as requested by management.

Education and Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role

Qualifications

• Computer savvy, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Advanced analytical skills
• Accurate and efficient with accounting processes
• Problem solving and innovation
