As an Accounting Lead, you will have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and a strong motivation to drive processes that contribute to an efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual close, as well as the financial reporting process. You pay great attention to detail, have the ability to deliver results under deadlines, and work effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. What You'll Do

• Intercompany Accounting: oversee proper application of and compliance with intercompany accounting policies, analyze results, lead end-to-end processes including invoicing, reconciliations, settlements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimize processes for reconciliation and compliance.

• Accounting For “Standalone” US Entities: partner with Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting teams to meet reporting requirements, and ensure accounting integrity for Affirm’s standalone entities through proper allocation, elimination, and consolidation.

• General: execute accounting controls during close processes, support audits, drive automation and process improvements, and assist in policy and procedure development.

What We Look For

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, with recent general ledger accounting at a senior or supervisory level in a public company.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes, and familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, with a proactive ownership mindset and curiosity to learn.

Additional Information

Base Pay Grade: I; Equity Grade: 4. The salary range is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, with benefits including health coverage, stipends, time off, and stock purchase plans.
