About The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Mortgage Administrator to become an integral member of our Mortgage Servicing team. In this role, you'll be working with a diverse portfolio of single-family and commercial mortgages, ensuring smooth and efficient servicing for both borrowers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll excel in this role if you are well organized, have a sharp eye for detail, and a drive to consistently deliver top-notch service. We offer robust training and development opportunities to help you grow within the company while working in a friendly and supportive environment.

From document preparation to client follow-ups and delivering exceptional customer service, your contributions will be vital to our mortgage administration process.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Staying vigilant in ensuring property taxes on mortgaged loans remain up-to-date, mitigating risks and maintaining compliance.
  • Safeguarding collateral loans against potential risks, ensuring compliance with lender standards and conducting insurance policy renewals.
  • Support pre-funding activities including drafting welcome letters as well as the initial setup and maintenance of mortgage records.
  • Support the broader mortgage servicing teams with various post-funding activities as required, from account administration to renewals and discharges.
  • Preparing detailed annual statements.
  • Thoroughly reviewing legal final reporting documents for loan closings, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's procedures, legal guidelines, and available resources, staying ahead of industry developments and best practices.

About You

  • Completion of a University or College degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
  • 2-3+ years of mortgage servicing or other relevant experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and organizational proficiency.
  • Knowledge of mortgages/loans and real estate is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and team-oriented, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Effective presentation, communication (verbal, written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and solve complex problems.
