Job summary

Northland School Division in Paddle Prairie, Alberta is seeking a Full-Time Jr. High Teacher for Paddle Prairie School to deliver the prescribed program, plan lessons, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

The role requires Alberta teaching certification and a BEd, with experience in rural or Indigenous communities. There may be an opportunity for a continuous contract based on evaluation.

Qualifications

• Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.

• Successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities.

Paddle Prairie School

Northland School Division is seeking a Jr. High Teacher at Paddle Prairie School. The kindergarten to grade 12 school is located in the Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement, one of only eight legislated Métis land bases with Métis governments established in Northern Alberta, Canada, and protected by legislation. The settlement is 70 kilometers south of High Level, Alberta and 1 hour and 14 minutes north of Manning, Alberta.
