MAJOR REFRIGERATION LTD is hiring an HVAC Journeyperson for commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance and troubleshooting across Ontario areas including Kitchener-Waterloo and Niagara.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, 313A license, and strong diagnostic skills. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, vehicle, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Licenced 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial Refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with gas heating, refrigeration systems, and airflow principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls.
• Willing and able to work overtime, as required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• ODP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints.
• Work with commercial/industrial refrigeration systems (racks, walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftops).
• Maintain strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with codes and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyperson to join our growing team. Open positions focus on commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, London, Barrie, Port Elgin or Owen Soundarea.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Strong diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop units
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints
• Experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (ie. racks walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units etc.)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards and legislation
• Other duties as assigned
