Based in Prince George on a 7x7 rotation (Dayshift), this permanent position offers CAT Dealer Grade Training, CAT Certified

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a shop setting.
• Maintenance shop experience and forklift certification are assets.

Responsibilities

• General clean up of shop, yard and machines.
• Assisting Journeyperson Mechanics as required.
• Aid mechanics with removal and installation of guards and steaming.
• Fueling machines.
• Minor service of machines (oil changes, etc.).
• Attachment maintenance.
• General service shop duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work successfully under minimal supervision
• Past experience in a maintenance shop environment, mechanical experience, and forklift certification would be considered assets

• This position is based in Prince George, BC on a 7x7 rotation. (Dayshift)
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
