Job summary

Finning Canada in Calgary is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join the CAT Rentals team. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair rental equipment including construction tools, small engine gear, and diesel generators up to 200 KW.

Qualifications

• Must have technical knowledge to service construction tools and heavy equipment.
• Experience with diesel generators 8 KW to 200 KW is beneficial.
• Thorough knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine electronic management systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality repairs to TCRS fleet of equipment.
• Solves problems from diagnosis to correction.
• Co-ordinates product repairs.
• Interfaces with customers in the field on service calls and keeps paperwork current.
