Job summary

Kal Tire Prince Albert is seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal) to perform a range of services from routine maintenance to complex repairs in our Prince Albert, SK shop. The role includes mentoring apprentices and advancing toward Lead Technician as you grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal)
• A valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments
• Experience performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
