Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac Family of Companies, is seeking a qualified mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, ensuring fleets stay certified, safe and compliant.

The role offers an afternoon shift, Sunday through Wednesday, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including training, pension enrollment after 1 year, paid holidays and vacation, medical/dental/vision coverage, EAP, and life & disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Red Seal is an asset.
• CVIP Certification is an asset.
• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.

Pay Details

• $26.27 - $43.79 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

• Afternoon shift
