Qualifications

• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.
• Red Seal and CVIP certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain tires, brakes, air systems, electricals and related components.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
• Adhere to company maintenance procedures.

Pay Details

• $41.51/hour
• $1.25 per hour afternoon shift premium
• $2.00 per hour weekend shift premium

Additional Perks

• Boot allowance - $350 per annum
• Tool allow - $350 per annum

Schedule

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday - first 90 days of employment)
• 2:00 pm - 12:30 am (Sunday - Wednesday - after 90 days of employment)
• 4 days on/3 days off

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.
