Finning seeks a dedicated Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to support customers across Saskatchewan, working on ultra-class Caterpillar machines. The role offers competitive wages and field premiums with strong benefits and CAT-certified training.

Applicants must hold Interprovincial Journeyperson certification and a valid Class 5 license. The position involves on-site field work with potential remote locations and shift patterns (7x7 or 14x14).

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification required or considered for relevant sectors.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and emissions systems.
• Engine or component rebuilding experience is beneficial.
• Transmission or hydraulic testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in shop or field.
• Respond to customer needs promptly to maximize value of work performed.
• Diagnose faults using testing equipment to determine repair scope.
• Support on-site safety requirements and Finning CS commitments.
• Maintain customer service excellence and safety standards.
