Job summary

Ainsworth is seeking a Journeyman Foreman Plumber to lead project, installation and commercial mechanical work in Surrey, BC. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, and install and service plumbing fixtures, piping, and mechanical equipment across industrial and commercial settings.

Required are a gas ticket (B ticket minimum), Steam or Plumbing ticket, and at least 2 years of Foreman experience, with a valid BC driver's license.

Qualifications

• Active gas ticket (B ticket minimum).
• Steam or Plumbing ticket.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Foreman.
• Understanding of mechanical installation and local codes.
• Valid BC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
• Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
• Hydronic retro fits i.e. boilers, pumps,
• Chiller retro fits
• Heat pump re & re's
• Air handler installs
• Install NG (natural gas) distribution piping and size as per code.
• Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service.

• Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
