Job summary

GDI Ainsworth is hiring Journeyman Plumbers with commercial experience to join our Southern Saskatchewan team for project, installation, and commercial mechanical work.

You will work with minimal supervision, read blueprints, install and maintain plumbing systems, and provide excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman certification is required.
• Gas B license is considered an asset.
• Commercial plumbing experience is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Job Summary

GDI Ainsworth is currently hiring for Journeyman Plumber(s) with commercial experience to join our growing Southern Saskatchewan team for project, installation and commercial mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have a great ability to carry out lots of service work in a professional and respectful manner.
• Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
• Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
• Install NG (natural gas) distribution piping and size as per code.
• Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman Certified.
• Gas B license an asset
• Commercial experience is required
• Understanding of Mechanical Installation and local codes.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Excellent Math and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
