Electrical Journeyman / Foreman

We’re Bowman Electric, the only full-service electrical company in the Kenora area, known for providing consistent value and excellent service. Our team has contributed to many local cottages, houses, and businesses, and our renowned apprenticeship program has trained many skilled electricians.

As our new Journeyman / Foreman Electrician, you will:

1. Plan, execute, and troubleshoot various electrical projects in and around Kenora.
2. Coordinate materials and supervise installation of electrical components.
3. Train junior and apprentice electrical staff.
4. Inspect electrical work for compliance with code.
5. Monitor hazards and ensure safe working conditions.

This role requires strong communication and planning skills to effectively work with team members, architects, sub-trades, and clients. You should excel at resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Red Seal 309A
• Mechanically inclined
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience with residential and commercial sites
• Experience coordinating schedules, progress, and materials
• WHMIS, Working at Heights, and other safety certifications
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn industry software
• Experience training or working with apprentices is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
